• CIVIL20

An Official Engagement Group of the G20 Since 2013

  • A Message from the

International Advisory Committee of C20 2026

Welcome to the official website of the Civil 20 (C20).

Since 2013, the C20 has served as an official Engagement Group of the G20, providing a vital global space for civil society organizations from every corner of the world to influence the international agenda. For over a decade, we have grown into a robust platform that ensures world leaders listen not only to government and business sectors but also to the urgent demands of the people—striving to protect the environment, promote human rights, and uphold the fundamental principle of leaving no one behind.

We launch this initiative at a moment of profound global responsibility. Today, our world is fractured by geopolitical tensions and poly-crises that do not merely threaten stability and the notion of Human Rights; they actively fuel the expansion of inequalities between and within nations. The C20 views the current escalation of global violence and the resurgence of both old and new conflicts with grave concern. These hostilities act as a direct barrier to our shared goals of sustainable development and human dignity.
